About Professor Kenyatta
Kamau Kenyatta is a nationally recognized author and professor. At an early age in the segregated south, he learned from his parents and grandparents that he could be and do whatever he wanted to despite racial limitations set by society. In his books, The White People Show: How To Understand Racism and Still Be Wrong About It, Black Folk’s Hair Revised Edition: Secrets, Shame & Liberation, and The 7 Most Dangerous Pitfalls to Your College Success, he inspires and challenges those who hear him.
Professor Kenyatta has appeared on numerous radio and television programs over the years and is the previous host of the popular internet radio program The Global Whirlwind heard on Harambee Radio.com. He currently teaches African World Studies courses at Lafayette College and Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania.
Professor Kenyatta combines his degrees in Music and Business from New Jersey City University, Religion & History from Princeton Theological Seminary, and African-World Studies from Temple University into a matchless and compelling style with a relevant message to the contemporary world.
